Greyson Horst is a director and editor from Sacramento, CA. He completed two years of his undergraduate degree at Chapman’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, studying narrative film and documentary. Greyson completed his final two years of undergrad at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he dove head first into experimental and genre filmmaking. His short film, The Bugs and the Slugs, places a story of sexual discovery in a heightened fantasy environment, premiering at Slamdance in 2022. He is currently in post-production for Throuple, a feature film about a singer-songwriter embracing romantic firsts as he embarks on a journey of self actualization.

When he is not directing, Greyson works as a freelance editor and VFX artist. He has been the lead editor on numerous independent short films and music videos. He has also been on-set editor for a narrative feature and assistant editor for a documentary feature. He works well with directors to execute their vision, while challenging them in finding the most concise and effective way of telling their story. Greyson lives in Brooklyn, NY.
